Laura Olivia - Surface Pattern Designer

Laura Olivia is an established freelance surface pattern designer who has worked for and sold designs to a wide range of clients in the UK and internationally including Wilkinson, Arthouse, Bianca Turner, Tesco, Ellison First Asia, Mori Tessuti and more. She set up her business in 2010 and whilst exhibiting at One Year On within New Designers was spotted by the trends team at Wilkinson who commissioned her to design their best selling Nostalgia Stationery range. Since then she has gone on to design surface patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, home accessories, stationery, fashion and beauty product packaging. Her designs can now also be found on a wide range of products through her various licensing partners, and include phone cases, tablet covers, blinds, wall art and tableware.

This collection is called 'Bohemia' and is inspired by Boho fashion and accessories. The range includes a mix of paisleys, birds, feathers, butterflies and more to reflect this style. The designs will be used for Laura's licensing portfolio for a wide range of products including Wall Art by Artistic Britain coming soon!.

Jane Farnham is a freelance surface pattern designer and maker of things, creating patterns for anything that needs a surface design.

"I have always been obsessed with colour and repeat patterns for as long as I can remember.  I use a mixture of line drawings and doodles along with computer illustration to create my work.  I take a lot of my inspiration from nature, old china and fabrics and am often found looking around charity shops, antique markets or our local park, taking photographs of any & everything that interests me.  I also love bringing old furniture back to life, sewing all sorts of things and drinking lots of tea".

Jane was a runner up in our recent Patterned Type Competition and her website is jam packed full of beautiful eye candy.
