Studio Manager, Lee introduces some of the pupils to our characters.
The pupils get to play on the Emily Button website.
A fun day was had in our London studio on Tuesday as Studio Manager Lee invited year 5 pupils (ages 7-10) of St. William of York Primary School SE London to visit the Tigerprint London Creative studio.
30 children and 6 teachers toured around and had a chance to meet all of the artists, designers and managers in the studio to find out and understand a little about what we do.
The children then had a fun afternoon where they gave feedback on some of the characters we create for Marks & Spencer. They also all had a chance to use the macs and share their experience of our brand new Emily Button website and their other on-line faves with the team.
The children also had the opportunity to draw some cute, cool and crazy characters of their own - maybe we even saw the next generation of Tigerprinters! The feedback and interactive sessions threw up some welcome surprises and leads as to what to develop with cutes and characters going forward!
The day proved to be a fantastic hit with all and when Studio Manager Lee returned home that evening his son (one of the 30 students) was already at work on his own cartoon strip.
On a final note, one part of South East London now has the highest concentration of Emily Button fans even before the products hit the stores!
Thank you to all the wonderful pupils, teachers and parents from St. William of York Primary School SE London - we had a truly fantastic day and we hope you all did too.
