The new competition, The Colour of Love in association with the Society of Dyers and Colourists, will be open for entries from Tuesday 4th February until Monday 3rd March.

Designer Spotlight: Shannon Hays

Last month's All About Type competition runner up, Shannon Hays, has shared her work with us to showcase on the Tigerprint blog. 

Shannon has been a graphic designer for many years, she recently launched Shindig Design Studio to explore adventures in art licensing and surface pattern design. Shannon loves clean, simple shapes, bold graphics and retro inspiration. She lives on the Seacoast of New Hampshire (USA) with her three wonderful daughters and amazingly supportive husband. All of her designs are available for licensing and she's happy to work on commission as well.

Leeds Print Festival

At Tigerprint, we love to find out what's going on out and about in the design community. Today we'd like to share news about the Leeds Print Festival, starting on Friday 26th January. 

"Third time’s the charm, as we proudly announce Leeds Print Festival 2014. The week long festival champions contemporary and traditional print making processes with an opening night celebration, print exhibitions, a series of talks, and even a print fair."     Leeds Print Festival. 

The festival is running from Friday 24th January until 31st January. The festival is spread over a number of venues including Cafe 164, Colours May Varyand Leeds Gallery.

Graphic Designer | Ref 0070-2

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer within Tigerprint. 

The successful designer will have relevant graphic and packaging design experience working in a similar position. The role involves working in a busy creative design studio on a number of product areas across different categories. Will exhibit a broad range of graphic styles including typography and lettering and have a strong sense of design, graphics, colour and composition.

 

You should be proficient in both Illustrator and Photoshop and be comfortable working on 3d packaging projects. The designer will be able to create original ideas, develop successful new designs, and contribute towards the output of commercially viable products.
