Shades of Change is an information installation by New Orleans designer Marin Dearie. The collection of work has been created to highlight the gradual color changes that occur in nature, popular culture, and elsewhere.
I think its a great project, very fun & qplayful and Marin has created some lovely colour palettes too.

Rachel Gresham is a surface pattern designer & illustrator based in Tennessee, USA.
Rachel currently works as a Freelancer and Licenses her work, and is keen to take on new projects. Lately Rachel has created designs for a publishing company with their stationery range, and she's working with a textile design studio creating patterns for their baby collections.
Rachel has shared 5 images from different collections within her portfolio.

The brilliant design duo Rachael Taylor & Beth Nicholls, founders of "Do what you love" have released an on-line magazine, Moyo, dedicated to Surface Pattern. The 'zine' features designers, colour, how to tips & student profiles to name a few topics. Its jam packed with ideas, inspiration and behind the scenes information. The Tigerprint Bradford Studio had a fuddle* during the week to say goodbye to one of our fabulous Graphic Designers, who is going on maternity. As always there was plenty of food being passed around and some yummy looking cakes. There was also guess the baby pictures competition, if you've been in the Studio can you guess who they are?
*Fuddle: Everyone brings in food for a studio picnic.

The Big Chair Project has been set up by The Better Food Foundation, a charity founded by Jamie Oliver. Following the success of his "Fifteen" restaurant Jamie has invested in developing young people for the last 10 years. The aim of the Big Chair project is to raise enough funds for the next 10 years of investment. Artists & Designers including Cath Kidston, Quetine Blake & Liberty have all decorated an ANT Fritz Hansen chair ready to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. We had a brilliant response from you all for the recent Male Fashion Icons & Symbols Competition.
It was a pretty tough brief we gave you but you guys are a talented bunch so a big well done!
Our winning entry above is by Elizabeth and the judges loved the illustrative style of this design and sophisticated take on the drinks trend. The colour palette, style and placement is wonderful and very commercial.

We are holding a Tigerprint Open Day at our West Yorkshire HQ Wednesday 19th September.

The Tigerprint team at HQ have been taking part in a company wide Olympics. We've had activities such as the Sack Race Relay, 3 Legged Race & Wellie Wanging. Its been great to see everyone getting involved and its not over yet. We've got a 100m sprint final tomorrow, lets see if we've got the next Usain Bolt in the team.

Jennie is a 2010 graduate at Leeds Art College, with a 2.1 Honours Degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
