There is such a wonderful buzz at the moment in Tigerprint HQ what with our Design a print competition, Design a day which launched today and all the amazing graduate shows including NNew Designers and D&AD which we are lucky enough to attend.

Therefore over the summer (if we get one) we'd like to feature lot's of your inspiring work for all to see! Please feel free to send us links to your website and images of your work and/or show if you'd like to feature on our blog.

We will be scouring the shows and i will be at New Designers tommorow having a look around as well as taking part in an exciting workshop on our stand so do drop by and say hello!

I was thrilled to receive such a lovely email from Danielle today who is a printed textile designer based in Glasgow with a love of all things pattern!

Danielle has created her own business called DanYELL for which she creates surface patterns/illustrations for greetings cards, brooches and scarves.

Design a print - extended deadline!

We've been wowed by the amount of entries we've had so far for the Design a print competition. Absolutely gorgeous designs coming through!

Therefore we've decided to give you an extra week - (were just greedy).

All entries must now be in by midnight Thursday 5th July - good luck!

It seems that each week I'm more amazed by the quality of work that is coming from the students of the hugely successful on-line course "The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design". Today we have a selection of fantastic work from the graduates of Module 3 - huge pat on the back guys and also to Rachael and Beth for running such a wonderful course. Male Photographic Competition - Results

  Designing for male recipients is one of the most difficult aspects of our job here at Tigerprint. We hope you enjoyed the Male photographic brief and well done for doing such a great job.

The image about by Sofi Lou is our overall winner - congratulations! The judges felt it captured the current trend for all things British and a great sense of humour which would suit a blank card well. Great work! Sofi Lou will now receive a cheque for £200 - enjoy!

Our runners up who will each receive a special prize are:

 A really well styled concept by Rocket & Co although we would have to obtain a license to work with the scrabble pieces. Great image and well done!

 To be honest we were really impressed with all of Beth's entries but these two stood out the most to us. Great concepts and a lot of hard work has been put into composing these. The only reason we were unable to proclaim Beth our winner is that we already have a very similar design in our range. Well done Beth!
