Magma

Magma (UK) expanded its brand a few months ago by opening it's first Multi-Purpose product shop, designed by architects Julie Blum and Nikki Blustin. The eco friendly shelving is made out of treated cardboard and these specially designed units (and counters and changing-rooms) come flat-packed, to be unfolded and built up "according to how many coffee cups are spilled on them."

This new store looks like something straight out of Michel Gondry's Science of Sleep, and is a present buyers dream come true. When Pantone asked designers to translate their spring 2007 fashion colors to interior paint colors and describe the room, this is what they said.

The Hair

The Hair, a group who has chosen to walk down a beaten and criticised path and come out the other end with a sound that’s more electrifying than a battery sandwich, are currently taking Japan by storm with their debut album "indecisions'. Videos on MTV, national radio plays and sales in HMV and Tower Records are the kind of things these lads have been dreaming of since they were knee-high to a grasshopper. The amazing ablum artwork was designed by our very own Chris Taylor (notice the silver foil finish!) The CD is available on import here, you might even spot Tigerprint on the thankyou page of the booklet.
