« Back to Spring Surface Pattern

My work has been inspired by a recent project where the visual resreach was based on the culture and ambience of the city Rome. The idea was to capture the less literal vibe of the city and take an abstract approach on colour, shape, geometrics and the electricity of the mood of the city to create exciting and visually stimulating surface designs. Also, a main focus was to create floral which did not look so literal, where the pattern would look like flowers from afar but when looked at closer, was something odd and extraordinary. I thought this was an innovative take on the general floral patterns that are currently within fashion and interiors.
