This second idea is using a floral water colour of lisianthus to reflect a gift of a fresh bouquet for mothers day.
When I designed the other card I submitted I wanted to focus on the caring and nurturing aspect of a mother, the white blossom is symbolic of growth and a mothers
protection found in the arc of it's boughs. The blossom petals blown from the branch symbolize future 'flying from the nest' and the mothers help in
preparing for this. The close bond of mother and child relationship through out life was also something I wanted to get across.
