I have designed a card for a wedding, taking a traditional saying, and bringing it into modern day with a playful aesthetic. I created an illustration for the front of the card, as well as one for the inside of the card because I feel that the message inside can be just as important as the outside.
My illustrations are collaged, cutting everything out by hand using my trusty scalpel. I chose a colour pallette that is delicate and soft, mixing pastel pinks and blues with creams, which compliments the theme of the card.
