After doing some extensive research into other children's puzzles on the market that are aimed towards 3-6 year olds, I have realised that the average number of jigsaw pieces used is at the very least 24. For the theme of the puzzle, I have revisited an old nursery rhyme that was one of my many favourites as a child and one which helped me to count up to 10. I have also used bright colours for the numbers so that they stand out from the rest of the image.
