Apologies for the delay in bringing you the competition results everyone.
As you know Wednesday last week was judging day for the Play Time Puzzle Competition. I'm sure most of you will agree that the brief was a tough one as it called for an innovative concept to capture the imagination of children and inspire them to learn.
We had some great entries that were starting to push new puzzle concepts but the judges felt that no one design fully answered the brief in order to make it into one of our ranges.
However the judges did want to highlight a few designs to commend and award a special prize.
By Louise Harrison.
The puzzle in a story book is a great concept presented by Louise. The characters are very cute and appealing to children.
A clever concept by Jessica and great to see both sides of the puzzle considered.
A really simple and effective concept by Sophie and it's great to also see the packaging carefully considered.
We loved the illustrative style of these characters but feel the puzzle concept would need work to push it's innovation more. The characters are super cute though!
Because there will be no winner this month the judges have asked that if anyone would like individual feedback to please get in touch at [email protected]
Alternatively if you'd like to re-work on your designs and submit again as the team are always on the look out for new puzzle concepts and would be happy to take a look.
We do hope your not too disappointed and will take this as an opportunity to have a re-think about your designs after some valuable feedback.
A huge thank you to you all for submitting your designs and please do check out our latest competition Male Humour which is now open for entries.
