London based Betty magazine started online and is now a twice yearly publication, it's short but sweet and has beautiful photography and a home made feel. Articles on illustration, fashion, baking and crafting and printed on lovely paper stock! Mmmm!
Whitstable is where I love to go when London gets too much for me. I'd never been until last year and I love it! This is a guide for the Whitstable Biennale and I love the typography.
Higher Living liquorice teabags – I like the tea and the packaging is pretty.
Tatty Devine anchor necklace. I barely own any jewellery but I love this as it reminds me of the seaside and I do like a nice anchor!
Lizzy Stewart is one of my favourite illustrators, I have several of her prints, cards and zines. This zine is about her recent trip to Iceland. Great illustrations and sketches with little comments and stories. Looking at this inspires me to do more next time I go away somewhere – instead of photographing everything, why not draw? I don't keep a sketchbook and it's something I would like to start.
This Diana camera was found in a charity shop for a couple of pounds. It turns out it doesn't work but I love the look of it so I'm keeping it anyway! I want to get into more analogue photography, though it's quite a pricey hobby. You can buy them new here.
Red lipstick because I absolutely love it! This matte shade is my absolute favourite.
Round mirror and scarf bought in Blackbird in Margate. It's a lovely shop, do pop in if you're ever in Margate. Unfortunately I can't remember the artist's name but I do know she is french. If anyone can tell me who she is they get a special prize!
Balls of wool from Loop. Very pricey but gorgeous wool shop in Islington. I got vouchers for Christmas and have knitted one stripy hand/arm warmer as you can see. Just need to knit the second one now…
I've picked a few of my favourite things from around my house.
Clockwise from the top left corner - A photo of Tynemouth beach were I spent many a summer, a handmade bowl, bronze glitter eye shadow for a bit of glam, my favourite perfume Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, Barry M nail varnish (I think its Mocha), a Berlin travel guide - it's a brilliant city to visit, a wooden Empire State building block from Muji, my favourite earrings bought for a friends wedding, a dotty red peg, a pair of blue clogs from a trip to Amsterdam and a badge from the Gifted 2011 competition.

Willemsen, personalised Samsung Galaxy S3 phone cover from my friend Stephanie with a picture found on tumblr, handmade mug from Prague, Hut card by Lizzy Stewart, 1970s style pop-up phone directory index, teabag rest, vintage floral tapestry purse and in the middle there is my Q & A a day, 5-year journal!
Today I am sharing with you just a few of the things that I love - it's hard to choose!
We have an Eiffel tower that I picked up at a vintage fair in Paris, Jane Eyre which is my favourite book, a cool geometric necklace from The Red Door Gallery in Edinburgh, washi tapes and a Marimekko cup that I got whilst in Rotterdam which I adore as well as lots of other bits and bobs!
Making Christmas cards, draping trees with tinsel, walking down cold streets and seeing the lights glittering in the windows. Hot buttered crumpets on chilly mornings and hearty stews in the dark evenings. The Coca-Cola Christmas advert. The glee in finding a perfect present for that special someone. The Muppets Christmas Carol. Surrounding ourselves with the people we love the most. Spicy mulled wine, big chunky scarves, red cheeks and, of course, mince pies!
