Joshua Hoffine - Not for the faint hearted!!

He stages his photo's like small movie using props and sets, special effect make-up with friends and familiesas the actors and crew. He then uses Photoshop to adjust colours and contrast. Very authentic looking shots. Very eiery! See the rest of his work here

Weather forecasts by paper cutouts

This site, Weather For,  allows you to select a city and see the weather forecast via paper cutouts! It is the work of Kurtli Riedi and Steffi Gloor. Most cities features the same cloud cutouts but the strength of light differs hugely - its such a fun way of visualising the weather.

The world's smallest postal service

This is amazing. These guys will write a tiny letter for you, seal it with a wax seal with your initial on it, address it and package it up with a little magnifying glass and send it to the recipient!! I love it and am going to send one to my favourite person...

I recently saw these robots created by a guy called guy! He makes robots from found objects- very cool!

Schaffas

Screaming Wallflower

I found these great characters via the blog It's Nice That which had them featured.

Schaffas are gentle and un-aspiring creatures of great mystery who were released on the public 5th June at the Urban Cow Gallery in Adelaide. This exhibition is intended to demonstrate the various and complex forms that the schaffas adopts.

   

"SCREAMDANCE, Adelaideans Sam Barratt & Chris Edser, have hand-picked art-friends from all over the world to customize their own breed of schaffas. They were each sent a similar blank shape and given free reign to add, subtract, paint or destroy these objects. The response was inspiring with a wide variety of styles and approaches covered".
