Whilst the Tigerprint studio are busily cracking on with designs for Valentine's Day 2014 it's great to reflect and see all the wonderful designs which are now in M&S stores for this year.
"The air in Leeds Gallery will be filled with the sweet aroma of ink for the opening night celebration on Friday the 18th of January, be the first to see this year's Print Exhibition and try your hand at printing too. On Saturday the 19th come and visit the Print Fair and marvel at the talents of print makers from the region, so very talented they are indeed. The first ever collection of Grimm’s fairy tales, entitled “Children’s and Household Tales”, was published in December of 1812, and two hundred years later it is still thrilling children and adults alike.
To celebrate two hundred years of enchantment and magic; seven young
up and coming illustrators will be interpreting these wonderfully dark
and mysterious stories into a very special Christmas exhibition at
Foyles. With inspiration taken from both the classics, such as Hansel
and Gretel, and the less well known tales like The Golden Bird ; this
exhibition is about interpreting and re-discovering a cultural legacy
that has been with us for 200 years.
The contributing artists include Emma Block, Lesley Barnes, Laura Barrett, Natsuki Otani, Yelena Bryksenkova, Emmeline Pidgen and Karolin Schnoor.
Prepare to be spellbound as you enter The Enchanted Forest!

Shades of Change is an information installation by New Orleans designer Marin Dearie. The collection of work has been created to highlight the gradual color changes that occur in nature, popular culture, and elsewhere.
I think its a great project, very fun & qplayful and Marin has created some lovely colour palettes too.

Tigerprint have been spending some time down at New Designers and we thought the awards for the many prizes were well worth a mention.
A previous exhibitor of New Designers, Neil Conley, has created a beautiful award package for 2012's winners. The award takes inspiration from this years Olympics and hopes to show a celebration of design at this exciting time. I think he has brought together quality and detail to create a thoughtful piece of design. For more photos & info please visit Neils website.
A huge well done to the lucky designers who have won these awards.
