The amazingly talented Emily Hogarth has just launched a new look website which features stacks of her wonderful work.

Emily is a Scottish designer and illustrator living and working in Edinburgh with her husband and their West Highland Terrier ‘Mary’. Emily captures the magic of the Scottish landscape and its wildlife combing these with her recognisable floral and faunas. Working mainly with papercuts, Emily loves the combination of boldness and delicacy that they bring to designs.

Emily's distinctive illustrations and bold designs have provided opportunities to work with some big names including Cadbury’s, Nivea, Red Magazine, Lloyds Bank, Jasper Conran for Debenhams; Bebaroque; Graham and Brown; Tigerprint; Studio Roam; Medici Cards; and Cole and Sons.

Christian Louboutin

01 May – 09 July 2012 at The Design Museum

The Design Museum presents iconic French shoe designer Christian Louboutin, celebrating a career which has pushed the boundaries of high fashion shoe design. This exhibition celebrates Louboutin’s career showcasing twenty years of designs and inspiration, revealing the artistry and theatricality of his shoe design from stilettos to lace-up boots, studded sneakers and bejewelled pumps. Be taken on a magical journey of style, glamour, power, femininity and elegance.

This looks like an amazing exhibition and do let us know if you've been lucky enough to visit it already.

Play Time!

Seen as it's the Easter holidays we have decided to extend the Play Time competition deadline to give you a few extra days to work on your submissions.

All entries must now be received by midnight Monday 9th April to be included in our judging session next week.
