Laura Slater creates bespoke pattern, textile surfaces and interior product printed by hand.
Informed by the interaction of colour and shape, Laura's designs focuses on the translation of drawing and surface through hand printed processes. Laura's interest lies in the engagement with pattern and it’s ability to connect people to the environments around them. She explores this by her approach to drawing, process, materials and product. Laura aims to create arresting and directional printed objects for everyday use within the home.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2007, Laura run her busy studio and print workshop in West Yorkshire.
Emma Williams is a Bay Area graphic designer, surface pattern designer, and illustrator.
Emma graduated with honours from California Polytechnic State University with a BFA in Art & Design, concentration in Graphic Design. She went on to work for a branding and package design studio in her hometown of Petaluma, California. In her spare time she pursues her love of surface pattern design, hoping to one day turn it into a full time career.
Emma delights in anything playful, whimsical, and elegant. She is inspired by mid century modern geometrics, intricate pen‐and‐ink drawings, children's book illustrations, and delicious color palettes.
