Its World Book Day today so Vic & myself thought we'd share our favoruite (non-kids) books with you. Vic's is the classic "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte and I love the holiday read "The Island" by Victoria Hislop. World Book Day is a great opportunity for people from across the globe to celebrate amazing books, authors & illustrators. The event is a brilliant campaign to get kids reading and will hopefully rekindle adults love of books. I think a good book can spark our imagination, make us laugh out loud or allow us to get lost for a few hours. Have a look at the WBD website for some great ideas & events. Why do you credit images as 'courtesy of Google'? They are probably created and owned by someone who deserves credit, but not created by Google! You perhaps need to credit the original source, not the search engine you found them with.
