Thank you to everyone who entered the Topical Humour Competition and I am now pleased to announce the results as follows.
The winning entry above is by Jess Bright and the judges said:
"A simple design style combined which strong colours that really make the images stand out. Humour is good, not too risqué, and would suit the M&S customer. The cards could immediately be used as a collection of either female humour or topical humour. Would hope to see the humour pushed a little further'.
A big congratulations to Jess and the runners up are as follows:
By Nanny S-A
'Great illustration style and use of colour though the humour was a little close to the bone on a couple of cards – not sure it would suit the M&S customer. Could work well as a range'.
Great work well done.
"Unique illustration style combined with excellent topical humour. Again theses cards could immediately be dropped straight into a range'.
Excellent submissions well done.
'A good combination of traditional games and the topical humour element – not sure how far this could go before you ran out of games – but love the concept.'
Well done Gemma.
The judges were very pleased with the submissions and are very pleased with the outcome. Topical Humour is a tricky subject to get right but you guys have had plenty of success here.
Well done and make sure you check out the latest competition Children's Vehicle Character.
