Brittni Mehlhoff is the editor and owner of papernstitch the blog and papernstitch the exhibition site. The blog was started in July of 2008 to keep herself inspired and record the things that she found to be most interesting. As time went on Brittni was able to make the transition of working full-time on the papernstitch exhibition site, promoting other makers, designers, artists, and vintage boutiques.
Papernstitch, the blog is focused on crafty business advice, DIY projects, fashion, home decor, and of course, also features artists, makers, crafters, and indie labels. A little bit of everything and is updated on a regular basis so it really is a must add to your favourites!
The exhibition site is fantastic at showcasing the work of artists, designers and makers etc and provides a fantastic opportunity to get your work across to a wider audience.
It becomes really apparent from the blog and exhibition site that Brittni has a really devotion to blogging and all things design and rather incredibly her blogging does not just stop at Papernstitch.
"because I love sharing my thoughts and inspirations with others, I also write for several other blogs and sites. So, you can also find me on Scoutie Girl (every Monday), where I write a weekly art feature; the Dujour Magazine blog (every Wednesday), where I write a weekly feature on decor, design, and more; and the Zibbet blog (every Monday), where I write a weekly feature called Fantastic Five. I also previously wrote for Bloesem Kids, doing bi-weekly open house tours/ interviews with people who make cool goods for kids, which was a lot of fun".
Enjoy as I am very sure you will do!
