My concepts are titled "Robin in snow" & "Reindeer in sky". I have gone with the trend of Graphically based illustration with a hint of 50's styling; most of my work tends to have a retro edge. I choose to be selective with the colour pallet given by using the blues Greys and silvers as the background colours with the gold and red as the statement colours on the actual icons within the pattern which is made up of simple shapes. This gives the pattern a stylized, contemporary feel within its commercial overview whilst remaining extremely festive and fun.
